TradeShare services of Transaction Cost Measurement and Outsourced TCM will help users scrutinise trading activity and costs incurred when investing.

Some of these costs are visible, such as brokerage fees, research fees, and taxes. Other costs are invisible, such as spreads, market impact, timing, price appreciation and opportunity costs. Such costs are very real and have a significant impact on bottom line results.

While much attention in the industry has been spent on brokerage commission and commission recapture programs, these areas only represents a savings figure of approximately 1 or 2 bps (basis points). Invisible costs, on the other hand, regularly exceed 100 basis points.
